Welding & Expertise Centre of Arzew

The Centre was created on1978 .It is situated in the industrial zone of Arzew. It is a training and technical aid organ which is specialized in welding, welding testing and industrial pipeline of any type of metal.
The centre provides training in welding and welding testing .It has excellent trainers in this field.

The welding and Expertise Centre is certified ISO 9001/2000 and has COFREND Agreement in Non-Destructive Testing.

The Welding & Expertise Centre is equipped with:

Seven (07) classrooms.
Welding boxes, divided into three (03) units, each unit is composed of twenty (20) work stations; these units are allocated as follows:

a.TIG Welding unit,15 work stations.
b.MAG Welding unit(semi automatic welding): 8 work stations.
c.Mettalic construction unit(pipline) :20 work stations.

A workshop of cutting up & parts preparation
A workshop of electrical fitting reparation.  
A Laboratory of Destructive & Non Destructive testing.

The centre provides theoretical and practical trainings in welding, pipelines, Destructive and Non Destructive Testing.

Preparation to the COFREND Certification; Levels 2 and 3:

In his Training Program of 2008, The Welding and Expertise Centre, in partnership with the welding and industry Centre of Paris (COFREND) plans three sessions of Destructive and Non Destructive Testing Certification. This certification concerns the 4 following learned techniques: (Radiography, Video, Dye penetration and Ultrasound)

Two certification sessions of level 2 will take place in the Welding Centre. The first session was planned from April 26th to May 1st 2008. Whereas the certification session level 3, will take place in France from May 21st to June 13th 2008.High Tech Non Destructive Testing was also expected in Paris from March 09th to March 12, 2008.
